The British brand Fly continues its successful cooperation with Toshiba. In January the Russian market expects the new Fly Toshiba TS2050, an improved version of the popular Fly Toshiba TS2060 phone.

As its predecessor, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is created for young, active, business-oriented and in-style consumers.

The model design hasn’t undergone any significant changes. Designers just changed a material of the body. The Fly Toshiba TS2050 body is made of solid plastic and metal and more resistant to the environment impacts. The phone, with its positioning as a business phone, acquired a more fashionable and composed look. Following style of minimalism, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is manufactured only in two colors — black and champagne.

The authors tried to create a maximum functional device that could act as mobile office for its user. The measures of the Fly Toshiba TS2050 are 111x47x9.9 mm, with a 262K TFT display (176x220 pixels). Like all other Fly models, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is packed with a maximum of features. A 1,3 megapixel camera (1280х1024) maintains multi-shooting. Manipulations with video and pictures are possible in all digital formats. Among new features of the phone is AMR audio. PC synchronization and internet are presented in a wide range. Besides usual WAP 2.0 and GPRS class 10, the phone is equipped with a GPRS-modem and OTA maintenance. The support of internet mail services is through new e-mail client function. In addition to Bluetooth 1.2, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is equipped with Bluetooth modem as well.

The Fly Toshiba TS2050 board memory is 7.4 MB, with a possibility of memory extension via microSD cards of 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 Gb. An important thing is the Fly Toshiba TS2050 can be used as a memory card (via USB).

As always, the developers worked seriously over the audio features: the model maintains all up-to-date music formats with a possibility to form several play lists. The device has additionally an FM radio function.

A Fly Toshiba TS2050 approximate price makes about 185 $.

The new Fly Toshiba TS2050 is the first model in the Fly line of the improved releases. In the nearest future the Russian market will see the whole line of the advanced successful Fly models of 2006.
