The Britain brand Fly enters a smartphone market and launches its first smartphone Fly IQ-110.

The company is following its strategy and occupies perspective segments of mobile devices market. The Fly team suggests a smartphones market segment to be the most developing one. Fly supports an increasing consumer interest and offers a price-reasonable ergonomic IQ-110 smartphone with an attractive design.

An idea of an “intelligent phone” name emerged from a famous IQ test.

The new product is designed for young people who are deeply interested in high technologies, new devices opportunities and are ready to actively use them.

With its body measures 49x114.5x12 mm and weight of 105 g, IQ-110 can be easily defined as a slim and light device. IQ-110 smartphone is designed in a classic shape-factor, minimalism style and perfectly suites an image of a business assistant.

IQ-110 works under Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition on the basis of 200 MHz OMAP 730 processor.

The IQ-110 body is made of solid metal-like plastic and in two — black and silver — color versions, the phone is very handy. The smartphone is equipped with a 65K color TFT display with a 240x320 pixel resolution, a 2 megapixel camera with an image of 1600x1200 pixel resolution, multiple shooting, video recording (176x144). The camera is operated with a special button. Large ergonomic keys make text input easy.

The RAM is 64 MB, onboard flash memory is 128 MB, with a miniSD card extension up to 1 GB. The smartphone has a dynamic memory distributed between the contact list, ringtones and images (MIDI, MP3, WMA, WAV, AMR are available).

IQ-110 is equipped with all features, necessary for a progressive person, supports Outlook, Pocket MSN, EMS/MMS/SMS, Bluetooth 1.2, PC synchronization via USB. The organizer helps to plan a work day, have alarm-clock, calculator, MP3 player. Internet access is provided by GPRS class 10, WAP 2.0 application. IQ-110 supports Java MIDP 2.0 application.

An approximate smartphone price will make 360 $. The sales are to start in the end of December, 2006.
