Fly spirits — one more chance to fly
The summer festival of Fly mobile phones.
On 25th of July a summer festival of Fly mobile phones “One more chance to Fly” took place in the “Krasnaya Presnya” park. During the holiday the guests were accompanied with pleasant music, news from Fly, Fly unique new products and cheer feeling of a summer day.

Within the framework of the festival there was a press conference in which top managers of Meridian Group Company took part. Radjiv Takhur, Marketing&Sales Director, spoke about the 2006 results and emphasized that the year had been especially successful for the brand. In 2006 27 new Fly handsets of various form-factors were launched onto the Russian market, with the brand market share in Russia of 3%, and 4% in CIS. The company plans to launch 15 new handsets more and increase the market share up to 5% in Russia and up to 6.5% in CIS. To achieve these ambitious goals, the company plans an 80% increase in sales volume and sell about 2 million handsets in 2007.

Director General, Fly, thanked mass media representatives for their interest in the brand and challenging questions: - — The brand Fly celebrates its fifth birthday this year. We operate in Russia, England, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, India, the Middle East, Africa and other regions. Yearly we double our results; yearly we open new horizons and solve new tasks. The tasks of this year is entering PDA market and strengthening service maintenance. Tasks for 2008 are launch of a portative digital products line and entering the market of North America.
After the press conference an exhibition of the new Fly handsets opened. About 10 new Fly models were displayed including the future hit of the coming business season Fly B700 Duo. Journalists had a possibility to test models of the SEXY series SX300, SX305 and SX310, miniature and fashionable clam-shells.

The festival went on with cheer contests, games and cocktail party. The most exciting event of the holiday was a master class in kiting with Roman Bikmullin, a professional trainer from the kiting school “Moscow landing troop” and freestyle and winter kiting master.
