Fly 2040i — ultramodern and ultralight cardphone

British Fly brand launches the next novelty on the Russian market — Fly 2040i.

With this model Meridian Group continues a line of slim phones. Fly 2040i differs from it’s predecessors in characteristics of the body: the weight of this model makes all 58 gramms, which is twice less than usual phone, and the height is less than a centimeter. The sizes of the body are 50x92x9.2 mm. The model is wider, than the majority of classical models. Such design of the body is called “cardphone” as reminds a credit card. Models will be presented in the Russian market in four colors: red, black, white&black, black and metal. The cover of case Fly 2040i is executed from special metal that raises durability of model.

 

Creating Fly 2040i, manufacturer has remained true to the main principles: stylish, handy and practical. The case is equipped by five navigating keys (to the right, to the left, upwards/Bluetooth, downwards/MP3, an OK/browser),that considerably facilitates the management of files with melodies and images. Following new technological trends, Fly 2040i supports all musical formats of a call. The wide choice of ringtones is provided with 15 preestablished tones, 10 user tones and also an opportunity of loading tones from the PC or through WAP.

Fly traditionally supports characteristics of production at a high level realizing last achievements in this area in the models. So, for work with images and video, model Fly 2040i has the built-in 1,3 megapixel camera with flash, a digital zoom and several operating modes: multishooting, a self-portrait, a mosaic. The maximal size of a picture makes 1024õ1280 pixels, other accessible sizes: 640x480, 320x240, 160x120. A format of video — 176x144.

New Fly 2040i supports all sound and digital formats of messages MMS, and MMS size reaches now 100 KB, and messages EMS are stipulated with the expanded opportunities of animation.

Call-back, expectation of a call, telephone directory on 300 cells + SIM, the accelerated set, own number, assignment to the subscriber of a tone, image and video, a dictophone writing conversation depending on volume of free memory, opportunities of multimedia: a MP3 player, MP4/3GP video, AMR, AAC.

Also the Bluetooth function (the version of report 1.2) in this model is fully realized: listening of music, set, data transmission.

Such spectrum of technical functions became possible owing to great volume of memory which, besides, is easily adjusted. Fly 2040i is equipped with 60 MB of the built memory and port for  microSD card. Owing to a flexible memory size, Fly 2040i can be used as a flash-disk.

New Fly 2040i represents the extensive opportunities for work with the internet: WAP 2.0, GPRS a class 8, IRDA (supported formats JPEG, WBMP, GIF87a, BMP), synchronization with the PC on USB, PC Sync Manager.
