Fly DS400 and Fly DS500 — a double expansion in the DUAL SIM phone line

AIMING TO EXPAND ITS FAMILY OF DUALSIM DEVICES IN RUSSIA, FLY PROUDLY PRESENTS FLY DS400 BAR PHONE AND FLY DS500 SLIDER.

Being the first phone in Russia to support two SIM cards simultaneously, Fly B700 Duo started off the line of DUAL SIM devices from Fly and caught the attention of business-oriented users with its tailored design and full set of business functionality.

The new Fly DS400 and Fly DS500 phones belong to the same family, but they are completely different in terms of design, functionality and target audience. Before the arrival of FlyDS400 and FlyDS500, mobile phone users assumed that the principal distinction of DUAL SIM phones was the convenient technology, and they couldn’t imagine having a choice of design or functions. The slogan of the Fly DUAL SIM phones family is: Don’t Deny Yourself Anything! The ergonomically designed Fly DS400 barphone is destined for ambitious young people, who want not merely fun and relaxation in life, but also a highly successful career. By day, the stylish DS500 slider is the best business assistant possible, while after dusk it becomes a ticket to a chic nightlife. Why compromise between function and design, when you can choose Fly DS400 and Fly DS500?

Fly DS400 has a 2-inch TFT screen, 262K colour display and 176×220 pixel resolution, and weighs only 96g. With a capacity of 800 mAh, the battery supports the simultaneous use of two SIM cards for up to 7 hours of conversation time or 100 hours in standby mode.

Fly DS400 is not overloaded with functions: its motto is convenience and vital functions ready to hand. Fly DS400 has no built-in memory and all user information is stored in  8GB microSD memory card, which is very useful if you have to change phones a lot. The 1.3 Mpix digital zoom camera with night filming mode extends the possibilities for experimenting with mobile photo and video. The maximum resolution of photos taken with Fly DS400 camera is 1280×1024 pixels, video — QCIF 176×144 pixels.

Fly DS400 supports USB and wireless Bluetooth 1.2 connections.

Users of Fly DS400 will also discover such conventional functions as: 64-tones polyphony, ringtone download via PC or Internet, subscriber ringtones, FM receiver, MP3/MP4 player, alarm and dictaphone.

Fly DS400 supports Wap 1.2 and GPRS class 10 mobile Internet technologies, and allows sending and receiving MMS messages.

Fly DS400 phonebook contacts (1000 cells + SIM) can be assigned with photos and individual ringtones.

Fly DS500 slider with DUAL SIM support is an interesting body and function design solution, worthy of the “multimedia telephone” title. The bright 2.2-inch TFT screen with 240×320 pixel resolution takes up most of the moveable component of the phone. It is very convenient for viewing anything from photos taken with the 2 Mpix camera with built-in flash (maximum resolution 1600×1200 pixels) to videos shot in QCIF (176×144), CIF (352×288), or for reading electronic books.

Apart from simultaneous use of two SIM cards, Fly DS500 can provide business people with extensive “distance office” functionality: a built-in e-mail client, WAP 2.0, GPRS class 8, GPRS modem, organizer with currency converter and world time display function.

Fly DS500 entertainment options include: an audioplayer with equalizer (MPS, AAC, AMR, WAV, MID), videoplayer (MP4, 3GP), FM-receiver (scheduled recording), Java games, graphics editor, MMS and EMS. It comes complete with earphones with a 3.5 mm audiojack adapter. All vital business information, photos, music and electronic books can be stored using the built-in 8 MB Fly DS500 memory or a microSD card. The Fly DS500 contacts book holds up to 600 entries (+ SIM memory) with 10 fields, and every contact can be assigned an image and a custom ringtone.

Fly DS500 can be synchronized with a PC using a USB cable and the Fly PCSync program.
