Fly E120 — a sense of contrast

FLY PROUDLY PRESENTS THE NEW FLY E120 BARPHONE — A DEVICE WITH  SOPHISTICATED DESIGN AND EXCLUSIVE MULTIMEDIA FUNCTIONality.

The exclusive design of Fly E-series phones proves that high technology can be turned into art. Connoisseurs will immediately notice that the uniqueness of the new Fly E120 model can be found in the contrast between the large, smooth, black screen and red/silver front panel with elevated number buttons. This instant contrast is in how the phone looks and it feels like it gives the owner the joy of dealing with a wonderfully stylish accessory. Even more, the smooth surfaces of Fly E120, combined with pointed and “sharp” edges of the case, emphasize the noble provenance of this multimedia phone. The metallic details of the design and unusually large circumference of the camera serve to show off the high-end quality of the device.

The 2.2-inch QVGA screen with 240 x 320 pixels and 262,000 colour image occupies half the case of the Fly E120. The perfectly smooth keyboard gives the impression of being painted on the front panel, while the keys respond to the slightest touch.

Measuring 106.9 x 44.9 x 10.5 mm and weighing 85g, the Fly E120 is equipped with a 3.2 Mpix camera with auto-focus and multi-shoot mode, MP3 and video player, FM radio, and other multimedia features.

Fly E120 camera takes photographs with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution using digital zoom, flash, and auto-timer, and shoots videos in MPEG4 and 3GP(H.263) formats. The photo editor allows retouching photos and creating original collages right in the phone.

Built – in memory of Fly E120 (22Mb) is expandable up to 8GB using a MicroSD card. These gigabytes of memory can be used for storing music, photos, and video collections that can be easily shared using the built-in e-mail client.

Mobile Internet with WAP 2.0 and GPRS technologies: class 10 and EDGE high-speed data transfer technology expand the boundaries of what is possible. The new Fly E120 provides smooth viewing of videoclips out of popular video servers such as youtube.com and rutube.ru in real time directly on the telephone screen. The videoplayer supports MP4/3GP formats.

Wireless earphones or the  headset can be connected via Bluetooth 2.0.

The key entertainment functionality of Fly E120 is the support for MIDP2.0/CLDC1.1 Java applications and its ability to work as a web camera.

Polyphonic ringtones in MP3, WAV, MIDI, AMR, AAC, and AAC+ formats can be downloaded from the Internet or from a PC via a USB connector.

In addition to traditional organizer features, Fly E120 contains a stopwatch and a dictophone which can be switched on during a telephone conversation in order to record it.

Up to 1,000 of personal contacts can be stored in the phone’s memory. There is no limit to the length and number of fields of each contact. Contacts can be assigned individual ringtones, photos, and videos.

Fly E120 will be available in two colour combinations: black & red, and silver metallic & black.

The recommended retail price of Fly E120 is RUR 6890.

Fly E120 multimedia barphone will hit the Russian market in December 2008.
