A YEAR AFTER introducing ITS FIRST SMARTPHONE to THE RUSSIAN MARKET, THE BRITISH BRAND FLY LAUNCHES A NEW ONE — THE SMARTEST SLIDER FLY IQ-120.

 

The use of smartphones demands a certain level of technological proficiency. The new Fly IQ-120 is for the people whose IQ is high enough to master new technologies.

Fly IQ-120 is delivered in a slider form factor, which is rather rare for smartphones. The dimensions of the device are 51×100×16.8 mm, its weight is 107g. Trendy minimalism and ergonomics of the handset contribute to its image of a business partner.

A large screen with 240×320 pixel resolution supports 16 million colors. Fly IQ-120 is equipped with a 2Mpix camera with maximum resolution 1600×1200, fixed focus function, digital zoom and videorecording (176×144 pixels). There is a special button for the camera and another one to adjust sound. The phone is very user-friendly owing to a 4-positioned joystick with a “submit” button in the centre.

A 900 mAh Li-Ion battery provides steady work of the handset up to 4 hours in talking mode and up to 120 hours in standby mode.

Fly IQ-120 works under OS Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone Edition based on 260 MHz TI OMAP processor. It features a range of traditional Microsoft applications: Microsoft® Office Outlook® Mobile (Calendar, Contactbook, Tasks and Incoming), Picture review, Notes, Microsoft® Office Word Mobile, Microsoft® Office Excel® Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile, ActiveSync, Calculator, Games (Solitaire, Bubble Breaker), Microsoft® Office PowerPoint® Mobile, Windows Media® Player 10, etc.

Fly IQ-120 is equipped with all popular services including MSN, EMS/MMS/SMS, Bluetooth 1.2 with wireless headset support, PC synchronization via USB. The Organizer will help to plan your working day; there is also an alarm-clock, calculator, MP3 player. Internet access is enabled via GPRS class 10, WAP 2.0. Fly IQ-120 supports Java applications and is equipped with GPRS/EDGE for main mobile operators.

Fly IQ-120 contains 64MB of RAM memory plus 128MB of built-in flash memory which can be extended with miniSD cards up to 2GB. The smartphone memory is dynamic and distributed between a contact book, ringtones and images (supported applications are MIDI, MP3, WMA, WAV, AMR).

Fly IQ-120 delivery kit features a USB synchronization cable, network adapter, stereo set, Getting Started CD from Microsoft, a manual, a battery.
