THE BRITISH BRAND FLY LAUNCHES FLY LX800 SAPPHIRE, ITS FIRST GSM MODEL IN THE LINE OF LUXURIOUS MOBILE PHONES, IN A CLAMSHELL FORM FACTOR.
Over the last four years Fly has been supplying smart mobile phones to the Russian market, continuously improving their quality and style. In January Fly enters the new market segment and offers a new luxurious high performance novelty – Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE.
The new Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE offers a combination of posh design and craftily selected materials — sapphire glass, superfine leather, and noble chrome. To possess a perfect Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE is a real pleasure, experienced from the first touch and the first look.
Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE has compact dimensions (92x46x23.5 mm) and weighs 120g, with a black body and metal-like keys. The phone is very ergonomic and user-friendly, with an external TFT display made of a high quality sapphire glass (128x128 pixels), framed with aluminum embedding like an expensive watch glass, and protected from scratches and damages.
Besides an attractive design, Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE can offer extensive functionality including a 2 Mpix camera (1600õ1200) with a flash which can be used as a torch, multiple shooting, video recording (176x144). Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE is one of the few mobile phones that can boast a built-in web camera. The phone also contains an mp3 player with equalizer, FM tune with scheduled recording, E-mail client, GPRS, USB synchronization, À-Â repeater for learning languages and training memory.
Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE enables downloading games (MIDP 2.0 / CLDC 1.1), music and video content in formats like MPEG4, 3GP, as well as MP3, WAV, MIDI, AAC, AMR. Ringtones can be loaded via WAP or PC. The phone also supportsBluetooth 1.2 A2DP profile for high quality stereo.
The phonebook can store up to 1000 contacts, and you can also assign custom videos and images to contacts. A graphic editor can be found on the toolkit. The organizer contains traditional useful features; the phone can keep addresses, phone numbers, notes and plans in a 60MB memory which can be extended via microSD .
Fly LX800 SAPPHIRE is scheduled to hit the stores in January, 2007. Its approximate price is 600 $.

Fly MX200 — slim style of a big city
In 2004 Fly brand begun a new trend in a mobile fashion by creating the first slim phone. Differentiating itself in the direction of ultra-slim models, the owner of Fly trademark Meridian Group company introduced in Russia and CIS markets a new clamshell phone named Fly MÕ200 in February 2006.
