Fly Toshiba TS2050 — business in style

THE BRITISH BRAND FLY CONTINUES ITS SUCCESSFUL COllaborATION WITH TOSHIBA. IN JANUARY THE RUSSIAN MARKET EXPECTS THE NEW FLY TOSHIBA TS2050, AN IMPROVED VERSION OF THE POPULAR FLY TOSHIBA TS2060 PHONE.

Just like its predecessor, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is created for young, active, business-oriented and style-conscious consumers.

The design of the phone hasn’t undergone any significant changes. Designers just changed the material of the case. Fly Toshiba TS2050 case is made of solid plastic and metal which made it more resistant to the environmental impacts. The phone, positioned in the business segment, acquired a more fashionable and reserved look. Following the minimalistic concept, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is available only in two colors — black and champagne.

Phone developers tried to create a maximum functionality device which could become a real mobile office for its owner. The dimensions of Fly Toshiba TS2050 are 111x47x9.9 mm, with a 262K TFT display (176x220 pixels). Like all other Fly models, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is packed with a maximum of features. A 1.3 Mpix camera (1280õ1024) allows multi-shooting. The device supports all digital formats of video and images. New features of the phone include AMR audio. Fly Toshiba TS2050 PC offers a wide range of PC synchronization and Internet connectivity opportunities. Apart from traditional WAP 2.0 and GPRS class 10, the phone is equipped with GPRS-modem and OTA support. Internet mail services are implemented through a new E-mail client. In addition to Bluetooth 1.2, Fly Toshiba TS2050 is also equipped with Bluetooth modem as well.

The Fly Toshiba TS2050 inbuilt memory is 7.4 MB, but it can be enlarged via microSD cards of 512 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB. The important thing is that Fly Toshiba TS2050 can be used as a flash drive (via USB).

As always, the developers worked seriously over audio functionality of the phone: the model supports all cutting edge music formats and allows making up custom playlists. The device is also equipped with an FM-radio .

Approximate price of Fly Toshiba TS2050 is about 185 $.

The new Fly Toshiba TS2050 is the first model in Fly’s line of improved releases.  In the nearest future the Russian market will see the whole line of the advanced novelties introduced by Fly in the year 2006.
